AGT. America’s Got Talent. Reliant Park-H-town. Early morning to dusk we meandered through the crowds cramped into a wing of the massive place for a series of auditions. Some acts were good. Very good. You can’t deny that that building wasn’t filled with talent.

Birthed only a year ago, an urban mix of poetry and more has entertained a growing community. Held at Frenetic theater the night was efentful with plethora of art (rap, singers, musicians, poetry, dance, THE WORKS!). The recurring artist was The CITY and for the time allotted we put on a show. We even had a knife fight with a little kid! (TRUST! It’s documented somewhere lol). This is just a brief video of how awesome this birthday party went down at 6230 Calhoun this Sunday night. Playing alongside keyboardist Daniel Porter, drummer Brandon Thomas, and guitarist Jacob Minter we delivered music for singers as Kai Hicks, Sqeaukie, Tremaine Hawkins, Ahmad Davis the performance was bound to be on point.
