Shonnie and crew interviews at KCOH

Last night after choir rehearsal I traveled to KCOH radio station [1430AM] where a singer named Shonnie was interviewing and parlaying with the on air jocks. As I arrived there was impromptu in station putt putt tourney amongst the GSU crew that makes up the band (and me, non GSU affiliated, bassist). After exhausting our time there we crossed the street and watched Marium Echo serenade the heck out of the lounge audience. She’s definitely a powerful vocal force here in the H and I love to watch her and her band perform. I guarantee an outstanding show each time…

I digress. We returned to the radio station for a little more fun before heading to chacho’s for edible solutions.

Good Friday svc with Brian Courtney Wilson

As a musician who plays for a very nice church in sugarland [the fort bend church] I was graciously summoned to partake in an extra service. As expected the music ministry stirred up the atmosphere and the musicians even backed up Brian Courtney Wilson as he ministered before a poignant reflection of the season by the pastor

this post is random…nbot germaine to anything i’m used to posting anyways but its always refreshing to clear your mental palate

(This extremely long basketball metaphor, which ran its course at least…

is dating a musician that crucial?

is dating a musician that crucial?

as a casual musician i’ve grown to embrace my extreme ways of selective perfection [lol], single frequency/esoteric thoughts and convos, osmetimes in a favored dialect called music theory [haha], overanalyzing each song i hear thus forever losing my status as a boring consumer [boooo lol]…

yep we’re weird but you still want us.

now read the paper…

after reading the unfolded paper with these rules, do you still look at us all ‘googily eyed’ as before? either us or some other passionate nut you’re gonna fall in love with and attempt to handle our eccentricities with a smile on your face….good luck and enjoy the ride

cash in on other’s expense…
